Access® Tile Products
Replaceable Cast in Place

Twenty-five years of tactile design, testing and manufacturing insights have gone into Access® Tile’s superior engineered detectable warning product. Access® Tile boasts the easiest and fastest installation in the industry requiring no concrete demolition and needing only a single fastening device. The replaceability feature of the tile is industry leading due to its simplicity and speed.
Surface Applied

Access® Tile’s Surface Applied tile is engineered to successfully upgrade any existing surface to comply with federally mandated detectable warning requirements.
Wayfinding Tiles

Our Wayfinding tiles were created to be used in unison with any of our other detectable warning tiles. These Wayfinding tiles create a path through your space, which is bookended by two truncated dome tiles to mark the start/end. Each ADA compliant Wayfinding directional tile is entirely replaceable and can be ordered as either a Replaceable Cast in Place tile or a Surface Applied tile.
Radius Curve

Twenty-five years of tactile design, testing and manufacturing insights have gone into Access® Tile’s superior engineered detectable warning product. With the addition of Radius Curve tiles in a variety of sizes that are easily cut onsite for custom sizing, Access® Tile boasts the easiest and fastest installation in the industry.
Here at Access® Tile, we offer a number of free ADA resources so you can get the most out of each and every tactile paving product. All of the resources provided in this section of our website are developed by
Access® Tile, related to our company or products, and free for you to use.
Radius Calculator
This free, easy to use Radius Calculator was developed by our engineers so you can calculate exactly how much tactile paving you need to order. You can select which type of tile you are using, Replaceable Cast in Place tile or Surface Applied tile, and then input your measurements. The measurements you’ll need are either radius and arc length, or chord length and height, depending on which two you prefer. You can also adjust the calculator so that it uses your preferred unit of measure; it accepts feet, inches, and meters.
ADA Regulations
The Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) came into standardization in the 1990’s, and states all persons must have equal access to public spaces, jobs, infrastructure, and more. The ADA Accessibility Guidelines (ADAAG) were revolutionary because it held true for all persons, regardless of ability, and made specific mention of persons with disabilities. With the advent of these ADA regulations truncated dome tile, or Tactile Walking Surface Indicators (TWSI), soon became a requirement in public spaces across the country.
In our section titled ADA Regulations we break down what it means to be ADA compliant, and how exactly our detectable warning tiles meet and surpass these standards. This section also discusses the California Title 24 Requirements, which provide further accessibility guidelines for detectable warning pavers.
Specifications & Technical Drawings
This section is your hub for all of our specifications and technical drawings, all of which are available as downloadable PDFs.
Installation & Maintenance
Installation or replacement of our ADA warning mats is remarkably easy, and able to be completed in under 5 minutes per tile. Access® Tile products can also be cut with ease, without voiding your warranty, in order to place ADA tiles in tricky or tight locations.
Further, the composite used in all of Access® Tile’s detectable warning pavers is abrasion and corrosion resistant, but it is also non-porous. While this is a good thing, because it allows all of our ADA Compliant Tiles to survive the harsh freeze-thaw cycles of northern winters, it also means grime collects on the surface. As such, it is recommended that all tactile paving is regularly cleaned and maintained in order to stay compliant with ADA regulations. This page details the complete installation instructions for all of our tiles, as well as the complete maintenance processes. As always, downloadable versions of these instructions are available via PDF on our Installation and Maintenance Instructions page.
Material Safety Data Sheets
The MSDS, or Material Safety Data Sheet, is a document required by the government that lists all occupational health and safety information. This includes the use of substances and materials for our truncated dome tile and Wayfinding tiles, as well as accompanying ADA products. The U.S government requires MSDS be available for all employees, and for locals in times of emergency.
Catalog
This is our standard catalog, compiled by our staff here at Access® Tile, and available for you to download on our catalog page. This catalog is a great way to learn about our truncated dome tile, or to provide this information to other team members working on your project.
Submittal Package
This submittal package is a collection of our submittals, and is easily downloadable on our submittal package page. A submittal is an amalgamation of shop drawings, material data, samples, and product data often used in construction. Submittals are required for architects and engineers, and are used to ensure all pieces of a project are correct. During this process, architects and engineers can also select colors, patterns, and material types not decided upon in previous stages of the development process.
